     Testimonies is a platform where people can share their life-changing stories for others to read and grow in their walk with the Lord. It is also meant for those who do not know God, so they can come to know the Lord and strengthen their faith in Him.
     Our primary goal at Testimonies is to encourage people who are going through tough times by sharing stories of others who have overcome similar challenges through God's help. Furthermore, we hope that those who do not know God as their personal Lord and Savior may come to know Him through the saving blood of Jesus Christ.
     Romans 1:16 says, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." We are not hesitant to share the gospel with everyone, and accept our responsibility to follow the Great Commission. Mark 16:15 states, "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."

How to get to Heaven?

One of the most common misconceptions among both Christians and non-believers is the idea that being a good person is sufficient to get to heaven. This notion ignores the fundamental need for Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross for the sins of the world. It shows a lack of understanding of what God considers "good" and the absolute sinlessness required for holiness.

The Bible, which is God's inspired Word, has much to say about humanity's so-called "goodness." According to the Bible, God is not just good, but holy. God's standard for getting into heaven is not merely being good, but rather complete freedom from sin. Since humans can never be holy enough to get to heaven, God provided a way through justification for them to be credited with the righteousness of Jesus Christ.

The ABC guide to getting saved is a simple, yet effective way to understand how to receive salvation.

  • A - Admit that you are a sinner. The Bible states in Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
  • B - Believe that Jesus Christ came to this earth and died for your sins. John 3:16 emphasizes this point, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
  • C - Call upon the Lord to save you from your sins. Romans 10:13 states: "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

     Pastor Wilder has always had a deep passion for people and an unwavering commitment to spreading the word of the Lord. He has a unique ability to connect with people from all walks of life, and his heart for God can be seen through his sermons and his actions.

Hello there! My name is Silas, and I am the creator of Testimonies.


     It has been my desire for a long time to create a website where people can read and share stories of how God has helped them overcome tough times in their lives and share their salvation stories. Being a Christian and a web developer, I've always wanted to use my skills to serve as an ambassador for the Lord.

     The fact that you are reading this today is evidence that God has helped me achieve my ambition for this website.

     Olympia Bible Baptist Church holds a special place in my heart as it is where I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior. Since 2008, I have been attending OBBC and have been blessed to learn from Pastor Wilder's messages, which have helped me apply God's principles to my life. The church has been an important part of my personal walk, and I am grateful for everything it does for us. I thank God for providing me with a wonderful home church to attend.

We believe that the gift of salvation is freely obtainable to everyone who accepts it, but we also recognize that spreading the message comes at a cost.
